Dionysius Akeem made his film debut in the short film "One of us" (2015) written and directed by one of his college theatre classmates. Since then he has appeared in several short films, as well as web series, commercials and television shows. In 2016 he had the pleasure of working side by side with Denzel Washington and Viola Davis as they prepared for their Oscar winning performances in "Fences" shortly after he went on to star as male lead, "Kevin" in his first feature length film "The Edict"(2017).
