Verna AldridgeBrown, who is SAG-eligible, embarked on her acting journey during high school in Memphis. Upon relocating to Oklahoma, she became a part of the Black Liberated Arts Center ensemble, where she honed her skills in theatrical acting. Upon returning to Memphis, she secured a role as a resident actor at The Blues City Cultural Center and toured extensively with the troupe. Verna also co-hosted The BET Gospel Train show and portrayed two characters in an international documentary film depicting Dr. King
