Gavin Scott was a reporter with the Times of London, a radio journalist, television reporter and anchorman for the BBC, and has made many short films and documentaries covering science, history and politics. He grew up in New Zealand, taught English to the children of headhunters in Borneo, and has traveled widely through South East Asia, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran. His screenplays include "Small Soldiers", "The Borrowers" and "The Battle of Treasure Island" as well as episodes of "The Young Indiana
