Kortland Whalum has over a dozen theatre credits that include The Color Purple, Guys & Dolls, and The Wiz. Has performed sold out shows at Crosstown Arts’ The Green Room (2020, 2022, 2022, 2023). His Green Room show is highlighted by Daily Memphian as “Five Must-See Shows for December 2023”. Performed with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra (2022 & 2023). Kortland was featured in BET+ pilot CURVES; and will also be starring in the short film Freedom’s Village; produced by the University of Memphis.
