Russell relocated to Chicago after four years of honing his perspective in New York City. There he collaborated with visionary up and coming artists, producing short films, innovative new plays, and reimagining classics such as a site specific Hedda Gabler, a Queering of Macbeth, and a grimy, immersive Ubu Roi. Russell recently graduated with a Masters in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University. He also studied at Muhlenberg College and the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy.
