Mason Mecartea (/Muh-Car-Tee/) is an American Actor and filmmaker. He is best known for his role as 'Dan Shelter' in Netflix's no. 1 series, Stranger Things, and 'Cole' in Damien Leone's Terrifier 3. Mason's previous, and upcoming, film and TV credits include playing the role of 'Tim' in Popular Theory (2023), 'Coleman' in Bad Haircut (2025) as well as roles on shows and films like Netflix's Poser, Blue Ridge, Rise and Decline of Punk Rock, and FRiCK!. Mason also directs and produces under the banner of THEDAY
