Christopher was born and raised in Baltimore, MD and is currently based in Chicago, IL. He earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University. He is an Adjunct Professor of Acting at the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) at Roosevelt University. He is a Joseph Jefferson Award and Black Theatre Alliance Award nominee for achievement in Acting.
