Karina began her acting journey in Madrid, Spain, where she studied method acting at William Leyton and graduated in acting for the camera at Central de Cine. She moved to Barcelona to study filmmaking and several game-changing Meisner-technique courses with Javier Galitó-Cava, teacher at various studios in the US, including Stella Adler and Waterfront Playhouse. Karina began booking leading roles, which brought her to LA. Once there, she trained with Margie Haber, KC Klyde and Shaan Sharma among others.
