Brooklyn born with origins from the Shinnecock Indian Nation, Spice got his first acting job in 1972 on CBS’s children's show Romper Room. In his 20s he ended a brief music and military career to focus on his passion for acting, which landed him a small role on Fox’s New York Undercover, various other roles, co-producing films with executive producers such as Mona Scott Young, Bruce Willis and Queen Latifah, and receiving an award from NYC Mayor Bloomberg for his contribution to the book: Souls of My Brother
