Shawnee Idahosa is an actor and writer from the Ohio area who took on the task of becoming a script writer to co-create a series called Live Love and Lies. Most recently she created, wrote and starred in the short film Bait and Switch. After realizing there was not much on camera film work for African American women in the midwest Shawnee knew it was important to conceptualize, write and film stories that showcased local black female leads.
