SOLA THOMPSON was born in Bauchi State, Nigeria. She spent half of her childhood in Nigeria's capital city, Abuja, and the other half in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has received recognition for her work with Black Theatre Alliance and Jeff Award nominations. She holds an M.F.A. in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University. She is an Afrobeats enthusiast.
