Marlene Luna is from South East Los Angeles and started her passion in performance at CSULB writing and producing sketch shows alongside improv comedy group Cherry Spitz. Marlene is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blue belt, novice boxer and avid roller skater. Music is another passion of hers as she’s fronted a metal/punk band and was part of a hip-hop trio. She is a former journalist in the Mixed Martial Arts industry and currently teaches Literacy & Theater for a non-profit, after-school program in her community.
