Born and raised out of the Twin Cities, Matthew Lolar is an alumni of The Theatre School of DePaul University where he received his BFA in Acting studying techniques in Voice, Movement, Improv and Shakespeare. Since graduating, he’s worked in film as well as a variety of theatres including American Players Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre and Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre. Most recent credits include Ma Raineys Black Bottom, This Bitter Earth, King Lear and Choir Boy.
