Born and raised in Atlanta, Jontavious has watched the entertainment industry develop throughout his city. This sparked his interest as a child and later developing that interest with training from the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta through high school and even further with receiving his Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and Performance Studies from Morehouse College. He has been seen in collegiate, regional, and community theaters around Atlanta, as well as the National Black Theatre Festival in North Carolina.
