Born in Germany to a military family, Katy grew up in Texas where she did community theatre as a child in the Dallas area. She dabbled in acting in college, but it went on the back burner while she taught middle school language arts, got married, & had 4 children. All 4 have been homeschooled and have participated in the arts, which brought Katy back to the stage when needed for character parts in ballets. She is now pursuing acting as she enters yet another phase in her life.
