Born and raised in West Philadelphia, Taylor Brightman brings a dynamic energy to the screen that reflects her rich cultural roots. A proud Spelman College graduate, Taylor honed her craft in theatre and dance in Atlanta, Georgia. She later made her mark in New York City, where her talent has shone brightly on both the stage and screen. Notably, Taylor has appeared as Genesis in the Starz network's hit series Powerbook IV: Force and as Remi in Showtime's acclaimed show The Chi.
