Originally from Chicago, Sultan A. Salahuddin is the co-creator and star of the critically acclaimed HBOmax comedy series, South Side. In addition, he is a staff writer for the show, a member of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA. Sultan has guest-starred on ABC’s Black-ish and IFC’s Sherman’s Showcase. Some additional experiences include several years of stand-up comedy performances plus participation as a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade and in training with Catlin Adams’ acting series The Work.
