Singer, actor and multi-instrumentalist Mathieu J. Roy is the founder and current Artistic Director of the Ottawa Pops Orchestra. An operatic Bass-Baritone, Mathieu has studied under Laurence Ewashko and sung in many operatic productions, most notably at the National Arts Centre. His musical theatre actor credits include TWISTED, and Les Misérables. He was also the music director for Avenue Q, Legally Blonde, Urinetown, and composer/music director to A Midsummer Night's Dream.
