Thaïs (pronounced tie-eece) is a trained actor from L.A. who fell in love with acting at 8 when she saw her mom, an older sweet church lady, play a sex worker in a church play & killed the part! Thaïs thought, if my mother can completely become someone else, then that’s what I want to do! Thaïs founded The Black Theatre Company of Baton Rouge where she directed and produced many of her own works. She has studied at The Barrow Group (NYC), The Beverly Hills Playhouse & with Carol Hickey Studio (Austin).
