Kim's passion for acting ignited at 14 when her brother took her to his friend's play at the Asian American Theatre Co. After receiving a BA in Theater from SOU she trained with renowned acting teacher William Esper in NYC in the two year Meisner program. In addition to winning best actress awards in film, she has produced, directed, and starred in theater. She believes stories can heal, connect and illuminate.
