Lia Cubilete is a Pediatric ICU nurse turned actress. She moved to the USA from Dominican Republic at 6 years old. Having grown up in an immigrant household as an Afro-Latina, Lia is fluent in both English and Spanish. She was recently in the independent film "Ghostlight," which was an Official Selection at the 2024 Sundance and SXSW Film Festivals, among others. The Hollywood Reporter described her performance as "wrenching." Ghostlight will be released in theaters in June.
