Elisa Meléndez was born and raised in Puerto Rico by way of Miami, where she discovered her love of the stage—first as an actress, then as a rock singer with her band Crimson Echoes. A lifelong learner and consummate nerd (ask her about her bowling and trivia tattoos!), she channeled her passion for music & video games into a Ph.D. in Sociology along with careers in education and games. Elisa now lends her bilingual voice and crimson curls to everything from audiobooks to commercials from her Dallas home base.
