An energetic 6 (almost 7) year old, Duke epitomizes fun while also taking direction and showing respect to the crew and director. In Never Give Up, Duke played the 3 year old version of the main character (and real life athlete), Brad Minns, of whom the film chronicles from age 3 through 21, when he won the World Games for the Deaf. Duke was a supporting role on the film, but following the director's lead, was able to convey the sadness and confusion of a 3 year old losing his hearing.
