Judd's best known as one of the founders of the Old Trout Puppet Workshop, which makes puppet theatre (for adults), human theatre, operas, and films, and tours them around the world. He's also a children's book writer and illustrator. He won the AMPIA award for Best Narrator for a Christmas special produced by the Old Trouts and the NFB (which he also wrote and directed). He has been a puppeteer for Disney, Nickelodeon, and YTV, and also created puppets for a surreal dream sequence in the last season of Fargo.
