Born into poverty in Yakima, Washington - Sam Gipson, his mother and two brothers moved from town to town until they finally stumbled upon a little town they could afford to live in called Mansfield, Washington, home to 372 residents. The school (K-12) had a meager 100 students yet somehow managed a drama club where Sam developed a love for theater. After winning a talent contest in Florida, he decided to pursue the craft further, eventually working his way into Ivana Chubbuck's top class in Los Angeles.
