Nelson is the director/producer of the films AN UNLIKELY ANGEL and TEXAS REIN. President/Co-founder of Beautiful Feet Productions with wife Rebecca. He garnered an LA Weekly Theatre Award Nomination for Best Leading Male Performance in Horton Foote’s HABITATION OF DRAGONS. Recipient of the prestigious Jerome Lawrence Award for his stage play FALLING LIGHTLY and 1st prize winner Maryland Film Festival for his screenplay THE HOME GAME. Nelson holds a Masters of Professional Writing from Univ. Southern CA.
