Forrest Hartl studied drama at UC Berkeley (B.A.) and playwriting at U.S.C. (M.F.A.). His short play, Mass Effect, is published by PlayGround-LA publications. Forrest's short films, The Whexican and A Boy and His Dad won multiple festival awards. His feature debut, Free Lunch, premiered to a sold-out crowd at the TCL Chinese Theatre. He teaches theatre at several community colleges in Southern California.
