I escaped death twice. Once, when I wrecked my dad's prized Corvette in high school. And again, when a guy who tried to bribe me for my stolen iPhone realized I played a trick on him to get it back. It involved a high-speed chase and possibly some shots fired. To keep things interesting in my non-work adult life, I've organized a few hospital visits with local Star Wars costuming groups so kids with traumas or terminal illnesses can meet their heroes. And I have cried in a Vader mask.
