Dawson traded his love of football for acting and his hometown beaches for mountains when he moved from Florida to Los Angeles at 13 years old. He originally just wanted to make people laugh, spending a decade working on television comedies. However, in early adulthood, after working with directors like Adam Mckay, he's become a true student of the craft, mixing his love of comedy with grounded work. These days he's as much focused on writing as he is acting. He plans to tell stories for the rest of his life.
